Nishiki Market (Nishiki Ichiba, literally "brocade market") is a narrow, five-block long, narrow shopping street lined with shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto's Kitchen", it specializes in all things food-related: fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware.
