Alternatively, click on Slideshow above right.This was our second trip to Monument Valley. Last time we stayed at Gouldings Lodge; this time at The View, a Navajo-owned hotel in the Tribal Park. I (Polly) found it gave me a "close to the earth" feeling, being so close to these wonderful megaliths through the night as so many people have been before.This time, our schedule called on us to leave the Valley after breakfast and head north, so we just have a few photos: two from the evening we arrived and a handful as the day broke.
